For this styled shoot the 5 of us gathered on the evening of February 29th, 2024 to create what I call the Theater Lovers Proposal. We wanted to go for a curtain call vibe at the end of the show. Giving the overwhelming feeling that something is ending only for something else to begin. The aromatic roses from Fielding Floral showered the stage not from hundreds of adoring fans but from one person to another, as if to say, “Be the Co-star to my story so that I may adore you forever.” I wanted something to decorate on to the stage and to bring even more of the theater-esqu so I sourced some Broadway Playbills to have that iconic yellow popping in the background. The venue was so amazing in working with me on decorating the marquee to fit my vision and to allow us to add the word “Yes” once it was time. Every piece of this unique and romantic queer proposal styled shoot makes my queer theater loving heart so fucking happy! Thank you for looking.
